ABOUT JASONFrom his humble beginnings as a distinguished political aide, to a life-long quest to reach, educate, and professionally develop others that eagerly knock on the doors of opportunity, Jason L. Seward has been regarded as one of the nation’s most promising new leaders. Seward serves as Founder & CEO of Millennium Momentum Foundation, Inc., (www.millennium-momentum.org), one of the leading providers of educational and leadership development training in the Nation. This passion to develop opportunities for young people was far from instilled within Seward over night, but instead has been inspired and nurtured by the door that was opened for him by the Honorable Supervisor Yvonne B. Burke, Chair of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. ![]() At the tender age of 22, after concluding a vigorous internship with Burke's office, Seward became one of the youngest Deputy Supervisors appointed to the Burke Administration in 1999, whereby he served for almost 9 Years with distinction in advising the Supervisor on various public policy assignments, as well as managing constituent services impacting South Los Angeles and surrounding South Bay cities. In September of 2006, Seward resigned from the Burke administration to set out to internalize the values, insight, and lessons learned from his mentor and embark upon a larger journey around the nation to expand Millennium Momentum Foundation, Inc. and to further reach a nation of young people that seek to contribute to the betterment of their diverse communities in the same regard. ![]() Seward holds a Bachelors Degree (BA) from Indiana University as a McNair Scholar and a Masters Degree in Public Administration (MPA), emphasizing Intergovernmental Relations, from the University of Southern California. Above all, this young champion of goodwill remains humble and passionate as he continues to deliver the blueprint to reach, serve, and advance the next generation of leaders as a philanthropist, distinguished speaker, leadership development advocate, and most importantly, a believer. |
